what happens when you take a bevy of pirates from northeast ohio and transplant them to prague?
the answers are finding themselves elusive at 8:41 in the morning – i am going to take a bath and go to florida, where things will begin to clarify themselves. tobias the tour guide, fake currency, jailhouse torte, toothpick aliens, and choir concerts – are these things europe in 2005, or is it simply the layer of dirt that clings to everything in my suitcase? it doesn’t matter. i am spoiled now. i miss this team lufthansa very much, it is like the morning after echo hill when i lay in bed and watched kinderman on pbs and sobbed.
anyone who likes p.g. wodehouse is an automatic pirate.
there are underrated cavemen on the ceiling of st. peter’s stiftskirche – and vikings and flying sheep, as well. i think there is a lot to be said for a girls’ night out in prague; our return trip will revisit the snoot bar and feature a clever masquerade as not americans. but i am not too embarassed, mostly just proud of myself – these are, shortly, new friends. unexpected unexpected unexpected. the infiltration ache is over and i can add – 1 robot, 1 pirate and 1 wench (in the positive, empowered sense), 1 rubik’s cube, and 1 mystery.
[sighs happily] i didn’t see this coming.
